These terms govern your use of the GoMando app ("the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to them.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use GoMando on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial purpose of learning Chinese vocabulary. You may not copy, reverse engineer, redistribute, or resell the app or its content.

In-app purchase

GoMando offers one optional in-app purchase that unlocks the full vocabulary catalogue. It is a single, one-time payment — not a subscription, and it does not auto-renew or recur. The price shown at purchase, in your local currency, is charged once through the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Refunds

All payments are processed by Apple or Google. Refund requests are handled entirely through their standard refund policies and support channels — we do not process payments or refunds ourselves.

Vocabulary content

GoMando's vocabulary data is drawn from openly licensed sources; see the app's licenses screen for attribution. We do our best to keep definitions, pinyin, and translations accurate, but the app is a study aid and not a substitute for professional translation or instruction.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may update or discontinue the app at any time; any purchase you already made remains yours to restore on the same platform (Apple ID or Google account) per Apple's and Google's own policies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Apple-specific terms

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for the app.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we'll update this page and revise the date above.
